Thankfully, not with any stupid pointless heroics, so at least there's that. Rather, he spied a rather large banner strung over one of the balconies of the mall--a quick run up the stairs and a quick draw of his sword and he cuts it free...just as the monster steps by. It's large enough that it gets tangled up in the banner, but just for a short period of time, Sousei imagines; either way, he's not going to stick around, bolting immediately.
