[...Ah, she can relate to that, as all countries serve in the army at least for a part of their lives. DAMMIT, he got her.]

That much is true...and I am definitely thankful for those who think like you, yes. But as long as you allow us to protect you too. The world needs good people like you.

You are Japan's citizen, no? He is lucky to have you.

[Definitely, if they could brofist, that is what should happen. And if America would think the same, then it's definite that Sousei is a model citizen not just of Japan, but of the world.

She shakes her head, but she gives him his moment. If he insists on giving her respect for being a country, then she is certain that he loves his own very much. Hearing this from an actual walking and talking source, well--]

Exactly why Japan is so lucky. Your humility reminds me of him.

[She can't stop being honest, it just happens that compliments and honesty are going hand in hand right now. Sorry not sorry, Sousei.]

In a way, you indirectly are protecting your country. That is, aside from certain secrets hidden from us. [If it is true, that they are survivors sent to find a way to protect their worlds, then yes, Sousei is protecting Japan that way. If they are kidnapped for other reasons, well...]

Ah, well, I am indeed touched. As we at least share the same continent, I will do my best for you too. [She'll get him to treat her normally slooowly. And honestly, she talks smack about America all the time, she wouldn't blame Sousei at all.]
