While it's not exactly consoling to here that this place is not free of dangers, he's used to it, and it's not even about happiness that he has a chance to use his sword. It's more that he can find a use for it here. ]

I see. [ Long periods of inactivity? That..that is something he's not used to, for sure. When was the last time he wasn't busy fighting, planning, following orders? A year ago? Two years?

He foresees a lot of wandering in the future. Mundane things. ]

[Yeah, he thought it'd be something like that...

Vaguely, Sousei's tone gets every so slightly more amused. It's really hardly noticeable, but...the life of a lineface, really.]

There is a dojo here. [There are tons of things he could tell Saitou, like about the man-eating fish or the phones or the weird weather. But.

He thinks this will be more useful to him.]

It is more familiar to us than many places here. [and he's offering it up as a safe haven of sorts.]

A dojo? [ Magical words to him. Something familiar. Although talking to people who understand his time and era was also nice. He had to admit, upon awakening here, he assumed he'd be the only one.

He relaxes his stance, imperceptibly. ] Yes, it is. [ As soon as he finds it, he'll probably visit everyday. ]

I assume I will find you there? [ Or, rather, "I'd be willing to spar with you" is the unspoken question. ]

[They're even, as far as Sousei's concerned--even more so with the offer to spar. Saitou holds himself like a competent swordsman; Sousei can't deny that he'd be interested in that.]

...Yes, I am often there. Should you ever desire a spar, I would be willing.

[as official and poised as Sousei looks, he gets...well, bored. He's been bored here. Saitou will probably provide a challenge.]

[ It's been a while since he sparred. There was fighting, and there was killing, and daily training in the morning that consisted of solitary exercises...but sparring? That's definitely missed. ]

I will likely take you up on your offer. [ Oh, he'll be a challenge. For sure. He doesn't go easy on the people who know what they're doing. ]

[They can beat each other up in the name of sparring, it'll be great.

But for now, Sousei is satisfied to nod at that.]

That sounds acceptable. Then I will allow you to continue adjusting to this place. [and/or scoping out the place, Sousei knows he sure did that for ages until he was even mildly comfortable.
