[While it's unlikely the exact same circumstances might get repeated, the basic and human parts can still be done. Theft. Murder. Seeking revenge against another. Whether it's with a sword or another weapon, humans would still commit sins and leave their imprint.

[What's keeping Sayo from completely believing in Sousei is his remaining reluctance and distrust. He knows people can make an impact, history was full of such influential people, but they can also fail as well. He doubts the world would ever become completely safe.]

[If Sousei was Haru or any of his previous masters, his response would be... mostly the same but his emotions would differ. The fact remains is that Sousei is not his master. And without any orders, he have no position to intrude in on another's fight.
