So he doesn't respond to that, instead opening the door for the both of them, striding easily over to the closet--which he opens. And there, hanging neatly, is a red jacket.]

Yata enters the apartment without incident and takes his jacket from the closet. Silence hands in the air during the rest of the trip; Yata doesn't know how to deal with Sousei either. His attention is on the jacket in his arms but his mind appears to be somewhere else, only coming back to him when curiosity strikes. ]

Sousei had thought they were done there, but apparently not. He turns to look at Yata properly, contemplative.]

Attachments really do bring a lot of pain, don't they...? But even so--they're worth it. Yata's concern does take him off-guard a little, though. He blinks. People worrying about him, even if a little--it's still strange.]

[ Yata winces and makes a noise at Sousei's bluntness, but remains silent when he continues. The face he makes is contemplative as he mulls over these words—what does he mean?—but he supposes that whatever it is, it's probably the same choice he'd make no matter how many times he had to. Turning on his heel, he starts walking toward the exit. ]

Even I ain't got time for regrets. But just so you know...

[ He faces Sousei once more and grins. ]

This Yatagarasu ain't an old crow like you!

[ And the door shuts behind him.
