[ On Christmas Eve, Sousei will get a package delivered to him. The wrapping is economic and avoids being ostentatious, with no needless bows or other accoutrements. When the ribbon is untied and the box unwrapped, Sousei will find a small book on swordmanship techniques and a small spray can of weapon polish - clove oil, to be precise.

[It's handy, and he appreciates it. Even though he doesn't celebrate the holiday, and honestly doesn't understand it well enough to have even considered handing out gifts, it's not like he's ungrateful for what he's been given.
