[ It's not the most graceful exit. Sure, they're safe for now, since it seems the thing can't break out of the mall.. but on the other hand, with the way Sousei is slipping while he's still dragging Shinpachi out? It means they're both going down. ~~THEY'RE YELLING TIMBEEERRRR.~~

Which means that they end up as a pile of limbs right there on the floor, since Shinpachi falling down on top of you sure isn't a way that helps you avoid falling to begin with. Shinpachi's at least conscious enough of the situation to remove himself from Sousei before the other is trapped under muscle mountain, but he lets out a groan as he half sits up and glances behind them, towards the mall. ]

.. it can't get out, huh. [ Look, let's just not discuss the fact they're still half tangled up there, that's too embarrassing. They're not each other's top bromo partner, okay. ]

[Thank goodness... Tenka's enough of a heavy weight when he lands on top of Sousei, and Shinpachi's even bigger and more muscled than him. Nobody wants the muscle mountain, okay......

Sousei just sits up as well, also ignoring the fact that they're still in a vague tangle of limbs. Who cares, they're alive, nohomo, etc etc etc.

Instead, with as much dignity as he can muster considering their positions, he reaches up and brushes snow from his hair and head.]

... Apparently not. That...was extremely lucky. [And...it's a tough pill to swallow to accept that they're still alive due to luck, of all things.

But maybe you guys should stop sitting in the snow.]

[ Shinpachi lets out another breath of relief, and only then notices that it's turning into a shiver halfway through. Okay, yeah, maybe sitting in the snow isn't the best idea they've ever had. It's certainly more of a problem than them having skinship over here, that's something Shinpachi honestly doesn't give a shit about, especially not with fellow members of the brosquare.

But the snow is serious enough of a problem that he finally draws himself free fully so he can stand up, holding out a hand towards the other. ]

Thanks, Sousei. Can't think of a lot of better guys to have my back in the middle of this place's bullshit. [ BITTER TOWARDS EVERYTHING HERE, YES.. but at least there's appreciation for Sousei. He's a damn good guy and a damn good warrior, what else is he supposed to say? ]

[It is very cold and wet, okay.... and Sousei will accept that hand. He doesn't need the assistance, no, but... it's Shinpachi. And he watched his back, so the least he can do is trust him enough to allow him to pull him back up.

Sousei brushes himself off as soon as he's back standing, and snorts softly at that.]

You watched my back without any fault. It's only natural that I would do a good job of it in return.

[Don't think him for things like that, it's so sincere and awkward!!! gosh!!!]

Now--we should get out of this storm.

[ Aww, look at cute little Souseiwousei... too tsun to deal with Shinpachi's genuine feelings of bromo. How adorable.

Shinpachi totally gets what the other is getting at and why he's being so roundabout about it, and it makes a grin appear on his face despite the situation they literally fell out of only a few moments ago. He just really, really likes Sousei, okay. Totally normal. ]

Yeah. I gotta at least see what Sano's up to. [ Considering he had been looking for the guy earlier in the storm when the devices were down.. ] And.. well, you got your people to look for too, yeah?

[Ah yes, Sano....... to Sousei's credit, he doesn't even twitch. Instead, he nods smoothly, as if he totally hadn't already met up with Sano and socked him in the jaw once tonight.]

That is a good idea. And yes, I'll do so as well.

[For Tenka, and the people in their household, and anyone else he runs into.

So for now...a pause, and he glances at Shinpachi, before he says quite simply:] I'll count on you keeping yourself in one piece, then.

[Since he won't be around to watch Shinpachi's back...and with that parting comment, he turns on his heel and trudges his way through the snow.]
