[...Ugh god he can't exactly shove Tenka out of bed with that in mind. It is frigid (he can feel it himself, now that he's awake again), and Tenka's cold too. After the lengths Tenka went to to warm him up earlier...
Though at the same time, he still thinks this is ridiculous--he doesn't kick Tenka out again, instead shuffling over reluctantly (out of his warm place) to try to not be plastered right up against Tenka, because that's awkward.
Grumbling...]
We aren't children anymore, Tenka. You can't just crawl into my futon as you please.
I don't see why not. It was easy until you kicked me.
[to be honest.
Either way, he's taking that shuffling as invitation enough and therefore moving so that he can lay out this own blanket over the two of them because if he's going to take up Sousei's bed space, he'll at least share the warmth of his blanket.
Tenka's just laughing now as he claims his victory and settles his head on the pillow that he also brought.]
[What does that....mean??? Is that sexual innuendo? Like. Tenka. No?
But admittedly having two blankets is a marked improvement. And Tenka's warm again, so that's good, even if Sousei is still trying very hard to keep some distance between them.
His poor personal space.
He's quiet for a moment, trying to figure out how to respond to that, watching his breath crystalize in the air.]
[Sousei, why is your mind going there. Tenka's mind isn't even going there.
Instead he's sighing contentedly as he buries his face in his own pillow. This isn't bad at all. It's warmer and honestly, he's not feeling any of the awkward at all. But that's because he's Tenka, probably.]
I mean-
After Soramaru infiltrated the Condemned Prison Gate, I had a sleepover like this with him and Chuutarou. 'cause we missed him and we were worried about him. He was getting too far away from us.
[ . . . and he chuckles faintly.]
So it's not that weird, I don't think.
It's just been even longer since we had our last sleepover.
[So deceptively simple.......so deceptively simple that why would he even bother to argue it? There's no point to it. Tenka won't ever see any other view.
Sousei wouldn't want him to anyway.
Even if he still thinks sharing a bed like this is weird--well, Tenka's warm and he's feeling less frigid and he's still exhausted. So... it's fine. Just until they figure this nonsense out.]
[That's the really eloquent response you can, Sousei, as Tenka attempts to wave a hand at that and really just.... it kind of flops a little right back on the futon. Yeah, that was exactly it.
For someone who wasn't able to sleep before, he's definitely resting easy now.]

Don't worry, I'm a master of sharing bed spaces!!

I have no idea what you're talking about.

But Sousei is just going to try to relax, even if it's difficult. At least he always had trouble as a child, too...so this is nothing new.]
Yes, most people stop with such things after childhood.
[...hm.]
It is acceptable with family, I suppose. [Like Soramaru and Chuutarou--that much makes sense to him, in an odd way.]

Still though, Tenka's just yawning a bit and shrugging in response to that.]
Right, right. Family.
And you're like family, so it's fine.
[Do you see how simple this train of thought is.]
